The very pretty village is close to the Govenors Beach area, about 15 minutes from Limassol and 20 minutes to Larnaca. A lot of time and effort is being spent on the traditional culture of this village and with European funds there is the creation of a Museum in the center of the village plaza, in which you can find archaeological finds that were found during some excavations. Construction of buildings for the needs of the community council, a conference room and a medical practice. The village has a lot of archaelogical interest, some very pretty churches and is a prime location for access to the main towns of both Limassol and Larnaca.
